Becoming “New Thing Minded”

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. KJV

We appreciate all that God has done in the past.  I wouldn’t take anything for it.  He has manifested Himself in awesome ways.  But this is a new hour and a new day and God is doing a new thing.  We cannot limit God to the way He worked yesterday or the way he met our needs in the past.  What we’ve seen God do then will be nothing compared to the new ways He’ll work in the present.  That’s why the scripture ask the question; “shall ye not know it?”  God wants us to not only know it, but to expect it, and to speak it. In short, to become “new thing minded.”

The word “new” means something we are unaccustomed to.  In other words, you’ve never seem it done like this before.  You may not have any point of reference from your past for the promise you are claiming in your life.  Neither did Noah when he built the ark.  But he obeyed and went for the ride of his life. I want to encourage you today, to not put God in a box. Don’t hold god only to those things you’ve seen Him do in the past. He wants to take you to another level in your thinking so that you can believe things about Him that you’ve never been able to believe before.

Since God is doing new things “now,” then right now is the time to take hold of this truth and see new things begin to take place. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. KJV

I want to give you a special invitation to be with us our dynamic worship services.  I know you’ll never be the same.

God Bless,

Danny
