On the Move

Deuteronomy 10:11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I swear unto their fathers to give unto them. KJV

When the cloud that symbolized the presence of God began to move, the children of Israel obeyed and immediately began to break camp. In a way that is very parallel to the children of Israel, God has also given Life Fellowship Church very visible, discernable, and recognizable signs that it’s time to begin a journey. We have also obeyed the Lord and have entered into a time of transition. We have sold our building and God has so graciously provided for us a beautiful facility located at 925 Kennedale Parkway as we begin to build for the glory of God.

The reason our hearts are filled with faith and confidence is because:

1. It is God who told us to “Arise, take thy journey,” and since He is the One who has spoken, He is the One who will also go with us. In Exodus 33:14 God said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest, or literally-to set your mind at rest. When you know that God has spoken and that He is with us on this journey, it just sets our minds at rest.

2. The second reason we are filled expectation as we are on the move is because God will make sure we are going to get where we are going. God doesn’t start something that He doesn’t finish. We will go in and possess the land that He has promised because “God watches over His Word to perform it.” (Jer:1:12)

You may be in a time of transition in your own life and you desire to have God’s guidance, protection and peace in your own life. God wants to set your mind at rest because He is with you and He is going to make sure that you reach your promised destination!

God Bless,
Danny
