There’s Only One Way

The whole theme of the Bible is concerning covenant.  God made a covenant with man in the Person of Jesus Christ.  When we place our faith in our covenant representative, Jesus, we actually become one with God.  We become accepted, received and made whole in Christ.  It’s very important where you place your faith.  There’s only one way to the Father, and that is not in a Shinto shrine, Buddhist temple, worshipping a Hindu cow or licking a New Age crystal or through the teachings of Reverend Sun Young Moon.  You have to go higher than the moon, you’ve got to go to the Son.  In John 14:6 Jesus declared, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  Many today who have a national and international platform, are brazen in their denial of the Deity of Christ and the authenticity of the Word of God.  It has always been necessary that we contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints, and to lift up the Name of Jesus.

You will never be ashamed for placing your faith in Jesus.  He and He alone can satisfy the longing of the human heart. If you will put your faith and trust in Him today, He will reveal to you marvelous things concerning the covenant.

Psalms 25:14 The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. NIV

Here is a short but profound poem concerning the subject of covenant.  Charlie McReynolds (my uncle), actually was inspired to write this poem after he heard my teachings on the Power of the Covenant.  May it be a blessing to you today.

 Our preacher was talking
About the covenant the other day,
And it really got me to thinking
About "What does the Bible Say?"

You can make a covenant
Between two or three men.
But you can not agree
To do away with your sin.

The rainbow was a promise
That there would be no other flood.
And God always made his promises
With the shedding of blood.

There was a covenant with Noah
And Abraham was promised a son.
David danced before the arc
And Elijah begin to run!

The Hebrew Children in the fire
And Daniel thrown in the den.
When you read all these stories
You know for sure who will win.

But the main covenant was made on a cross.
Jesus died for us all.
That one act took care of all mans sins
Looking back to Adams fall.

So now we have an everlasting pledge
Made with the blood of God's own Son.
When we enter into this covenant with God
Jesus and God and man become as one.
