		April 2008 “Boxed In,” But About To Be Blessed When Israel came out of Egypt, they found themselves in a “Boxed in” situation. The Red Sea was in front on them, large mountains on the left hand and right hand, and the Egyptian army hot on their trail, breathing down their necks. (Exodus 14:1-4) They reached a point in their journey where it seemed like: There was no answer. There was no place to go. There was nowhere to hide. Any decision they made would be the wrong decision. It looked like there was no help, no assistance or support from anyone. They knew that God had worked a mighty deliverance by bringing them out of Egyptian bondage, but now they were at a dead-in-street with no place to turn. What they didn’t know was their “boxed in” circumstance was about to be turned into a blessing of unprecedented proportions. Although they had no clue about what to do, God was not at a loss about their next step. In fact, God: - Already had a planned path of deliverance before they got to where they were. - Had positioned Israel to see a mighty miracle. - Used their “dead- end street” circumstance as a set-up to destroy the enemy. - Used the circumstance as an occasion for His Name to be glorified. You see, The Red Sea and its vast body of water was only hiding and disguising their path that God was about to make known in a marvelous way. I believe God wants to encourage your hearts by letting you know that before you got to the point you are right now, God already has made a way out. You might not: Know it. See it. Understand it. Comprehend it. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Psalms 77:19 declares, “Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters…” New Living Translation I believe God wants to show you that sometimes His way is in the sea and His path is in the mighty waters. It may seem concealed at the present, but it’s about to be revealed. It may have been hidden for a time, but it’s about to be made known. Exodus 14:21-22 says, “Then Moses raised his hand over the sea, and the Lord opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. So the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!” New Living Translation Don’t allow the place your at right now to take your focus off God and His Word. God has timed your miracle and He will not fail you or forsake you. Your “box in” circumstance is about to turn into a blessing so marvelous that you will look back on this moment of your life and it will be the standard for everything else you know God can do for you. David said in Psalms 147:3, “When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, you knew my path.” God’s about to reveal a path you didn’t even know was there. But He does and that’s all that matters. Be encouraged, the waters of your life are ready to divide and what you didn’t see all along, is about to be revealed.
