What is Jesus Doing Right Now?

 I believe our focus on where and what Jesus is doing presently will determine the quality of life we will live on this earth.  The key to victory, peace joy, fulfillment, assurance and the abundant life, is to have an understanding of the ministry of Jesus as He sits at the right hand of God.

Hebrews 7:25 declares: …That He is able to save to the uttermost, (entirely, completely, absolutely and for all time) those who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them.

Jesus ever lives to represent you before God, in every area of your life.

He is your Mediator- There is no more distance between you and God. Man has always been separated from God because of his sins. I Timothy 2:5 states, There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. Jesus has taken my hand and Gods hand and put them together.

He is also your Advocate- Which means you do not have to live with any guilt.  I John 2: If any man sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.  An advocate is one who pleads the cause of another or to put it another way, Jesus is my defense attorney.  If you will confess your sins to God, you no longer have to put up with accusations, condemnation, or guilt. Rom 8:33-34 ask, Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God…

He is also your Intercessor- The ministry of intercession by Jesus means I don’t have to ever live in defeat again!  Jesus is praying for me. Luke 22:31-32  And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.  Yes, you will face trails, storms, temptations and an enemy who is out to steal, kill and destroy your life.  But you can come forth victorious from the snares of the fowler because you have an intercessor who is at this very moment interceding for you.

 If you desire to be saved to the uttermost  (entirely, completely, absolutely and for all time), you must come to God by Him.  In the original language it means to continually keep on coming to God.  You may have come to God last week or yesterday or one hour ago.  That’s great!  But keep coming to God. The scripture say that we have a great High Priest who has passed into the heavens, therefore come boldly to the throne of grace and find grace and help in your time of need. ( Hebrews 4:14-16) He will take any situation you are facing right now and bring about a complete victory in your life.  The reason is He ever lives to make intercession for you.

 Col 3:1-3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.  For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
