Living the Dream in Your Heart

Living the dream is not just about a destination, it’s about the journey.  It’s not just about where God wants to take you, it’s about what you become in the process.  You see, life isn’t just about having more or doing more, it’s about being more.  You can’t fit a big dream into a small life.  Know this, there’s more than what you are now experiencing in life and God desires to enlarge your capacity to receive all that He wants to do in you and through you.
In Genesis 13:14-15 ...the LORD said to Abram, "From where you are, look carefully in all directions, I am going to give you and your descendants all the land that you see, and it will be yours forever” (TEV).  Whatever challenging circumstances you may be in presently, God’s Word to you is to begin to look away from where you are toward new horizons.  Let the Holy Spirit begin to paint a picture on the canvass of your heart that will begin to move you from mediocrity and the status quo to a place of significance and excellence. It’s a decision not your condition that determines your destiny. Begin to dream so big that it engages you to think beyond the dimensions of your present limitations to see new possibilities for your life.  The Word says in Romans 15:13, May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit (NIV).  Never allow the worlds mentality to become your reality.  Let only the reality of what God says you can do and who He says you can become to be the focus of your life.  If you let other people create your world for you, they’ll create it to small.  God never does anything in a small way, and that includes His plans for your life.  Let Him have your heart today and what God has for you will begin to emerge in a big way.
