As the Assemblies of God World Missions inaugural appointees to the newly created missions category, Appointed Evangelists, the Skipper's will be partnering with ministries and missionaries around the globe to possess the nations as international evangelists.
Jim
and Christine Robinson
The Robinsons have served in churches in New Mexico, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, and Germany. Altogether, they have over 30 years of pastoral ministry experience.
In 2002, Global University asked Jim to bring together his pastoral experience and academic background to write a new textbook for Global's Pastoral Counseling course. The new text has been accepted, and is now in the process of being published. In 2004, Jim was asked to join the team at Global as an instructor, and to write/compile further texts and/or materials so that eventually, a "minor" in Pastoral Counseling can be offered by the institution.
Jim and Chris resigned their church in the summer of 2004, and are currently itinerating to raise the necessary funds for their new assignment. Upon reaching their goal, they will relocate to Springfield, Mo. Along with this writing, Jim will do some traveling overseas to teach courses and hold seminars.
